UW’s East Union Lot Closed to Public

University of Wyoming Transportation Services reminds the campus and Laramie communities that the East Union Lot previously open for parking is now closed to the public.

The lot is open for Americans with Disabilities Act-accessible parking, construction vehicles, approved commercial deliveries and UW buses only. Pickups and drop-offs are prohibited in the lot due to limited space and to maintain pedestrian safety.

Parking meters are available on 13th Street between Knight Hall and Coe Library. Parking meters also have been added west of Hoyt Hall off of Ivinson Avenue and in the Ivinson Parking Garage at 10th and Ivinson.

The UW Roundup transit system, including Express and Link routes, operates from 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and is a great way to access the Wyoming Union and core campus throughout the day. The evening route also serves the East Union Lot and operates from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

There is no onboard fare to use the Roundup transit system.
