UW Begins Analysis of Acadeum

University of Wyoming representatives will begin analysis of Acadeum as a potential partner this fall and into the spring to determine if the functionality it provides benefits faculty, students and the university.

This effort will be transparent to all UW community members, with everyone having access to working group documents here and a feedback form to share questions, feedback and concerns here.

The working group will conclude its analysis during the spring and, if it confirms a partnership with Acadeum, use of the tool likely will begin in fall 2024.

Working group participants are:

-- Department head representative: Kelly Kinney.

-- ASUW representative: Jessica Yang.

-- Staff Senate representative: Open.

-- Enrollment management representative: Being finalized.

-- Course scheduling representative: Being finalized.

-- Finance representative: Leif Cawley.

-- Information technology representative: Brett Williams.

-- Higher Learning Commission representative: Steve Barrett.

-- Advising or student support representative: Richard Miller.

-- Volunteer representatives: Open to requests; share interest in the provided feedback form.

The three-question charge to the working group is:

-- Should UW contract with Acadeum?

-- If so, what Acadeum functionality should UW implement (teaching and home institution)?

-- What data and administrative support are needed to implement Acadeum?
