UW Announces Changes to Transit Services and Parking Nov. 3

Some changes to UWYO Roundup routes and parking will be in effect Friday, Nov. 3, due to the University of Wyoming-Colorado State University football game at 6 p.m.

The Link route will operate normal hours -- 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. -- however, there will be some changes to bus stops. The Spanish Walk bus stop will be relocated to a temporary bus stop along Joanna Brunner Street off 30th Street. Additionally, the Gateway East and Gateway West bus stops will be closed all day.

The Express route also will operate from 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., but parking at the east park-and-ride lot might be limited due to visitors attending the game. Riders may still use the parking lot to access the shuttles. 

The Evening route will operate normal hours from 6:30-10:30 p.m. 

SafeRide will be located outside of Gate 1 at War Memorial Stadium beginning at halftime. Rides to and from other locations in Laramie city limits will begin at 10 p.m. Riders are encouraged to use the UWYO SafeRide app to request their rides. Those who are downtown and need a ride can go to the SafeRide office, located at the corner of Third and Garfield streets.

Ahead of the game, most parking lots near War Memorial Stadium will be accessible to those who have valid zone parking permits. The following parking lots will not be accessible to parking permit holders: south of War Memorial Fieldhouse; east of the Arena-Auditorium; and north of the Rochelle Athletics Center.
