Basic BSN

four-year on-campus Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program option for students who desire to become a registered nurse

  • Basic BSN application deadline: February 1, 2016 for fall junior admission to the nursing major component of the program

  • UW Application (select Basic BSN pre-nursing major) deadline: December 1, 2015 for Fall 2016 Freshman Admission into the nursing major (see "2016 Exciting Changes")

BRAND - "Bachelor's Reach for Accelerated Nursing Degree"

accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) outreach program for students with previous non-nursing baccalaureate degree who desire to become a registered nurse

RN/BSN Completion

online Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program option for...

  • the registered nurse with an associate degree or diploma in nursing

  • the Wyoming associate degree nursing student who wishes to further their education to the baccalaureate level in nursing

RN/BSN application deadline: Spring 2016 application deadline extended to November 1; Fall admission deadline February 1

Master of Science - MS

Online master of science program for the registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • MS Nurse Educator
    The last students were accepted into this program for 2015. Due to the transition to the new MS Nurse Leader program, no admissions will be taken for the fall of 2016.

  • MS Nurse Leader (NEW! Program to begin in 2017)
    For the registered nurse who desires to become a nurse leader at any level and in any health-related setting.

MS application deadline: February 1

Doctor of Nursing Practice - DNP

Doctor of Nursing Practice (the new standard in advanced practice nursing education) for the registered nurse with a minimum of a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Offering family and family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner clinical options with emphasis on rural primary care. A second certificate option is also available for the nationally certified FNP, PMHNP or FPMHNP who has a Master's or DNP degree.
