Advising/Registration DNP

Advising Process

Upon admission to the DNP program, students are assigned a nursing faculty member as their academic advisor. Advisor assignments are identified in letters of admission from the School of Nursing. Questions can be directed to the Graduate Program Nursing Office at 307-766-6568 or cmcfadd4@uwyo.edu.

CAPP Degree Checks

• Students in the School of Nursing utilize CAPP (an online Degree Evaluation) in lieu of the Program of Study Form. 

• CAPP is a degree/certificate progress report/advising support system that matches students' completed and current course work with their degree/certificate requirements to determine progress toward earning their degree/certificate.

• Graduate Nursing Program staff will monitor CAPP progression and request needed exceptions (e.g. pointing of transfer courses) based on students' programs.
