UWSNA participates in many on-campus activities to raise awareness and funds for specific diseases/causes. These include Walk MS, Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure, Face AIDS, Body Image Awareness Week, Adopt a Family Holiday Tree, spring and fall food drives, and so much more! We also have regular social activities so we can all get to know each other as a group outside of meetings. We will also be having some guest speakers this semester from different areas of nursing that will share their experiences with us!

SNA is a recognized student organization on campus. Membership includes any student at the University of Wyoming that has declared nursing as a major -- Freshman through Seniors. We strongly encourage those of you who haven't joined to do so. This is an excellent way to become actively involved in your education. You are also given the opportunity to become a member of the NSNA which is the National Student Nurses' Association. There are many benefits and opportunities that are made available to you through NSNA. We encourage all who are interested to fill out an application. (Contact SNA at the email contact noted above if you would like to get an application.)
The local dues are $5 for NSNA members; $10 for non-NSNA members [NSNA=National Student Nurses Association]
NATIONAL DUES:
$25/year
Sign up for NSNA at https://nsnamembership.org/.
Meetings are held once a month, on days and times which are most convenient for the majority. A free lunch is served at every meeting.
