Multicultural Resource Center

The place for personal and intellectual exploration on academic excellence, student leadership & advocacy, inter-cultural awareness, and diversity.

Located in Room 103 of the Wyoming Union, the Multicultural Resource Center is a space provided by Multicultural Affairs which serves as a home-away-from-home for University of Wyoming students.  The MRC offers support services for students from all backgrounds in an environment that values diversity.

The MRC houses collections of ethnic magazines, books and videos that have a focus on culture, diversity and academics.  The MRC also provides access to eight computers, printers (black and white/color), study tables, a flat screen TV, and some of the most comfortable couches in the Wyoming Student Union.

Native American Education Research and Cultural Center

The Native American Education, Research, and Cultural Center (NAERCC) is a resource for Native American students seeking resources, a place to study, support, and community. Our center is here to  enrich all UW students in their quest for an inclusive education as they broaden their knowledge of Indigenous people, their history, and culture.

Our center honors Native American heritage and demonstrates respect for all Native peoples' cultures, traditions, laws and diverse expressions of sovereignty.  The NAERCC houses the Native American and Indigenous Studies program, Native American Program Advisor, the High Plains American Indian Research Institute, and helps support our two student organization Keepers of the Fire and the Native American Studies Association. Our house can be found near Old Main, on the corner of 10th and Ivinson.

Rainbow Resource Center

The Rainbow Resource Center serves as resource for the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Wyoming, as well as for members of the Laramie, and Southeastern Wyoming communities. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive place for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and queer individuals and their families and friends. The RRC welcomes all regardless of sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender or affiliation with the University.
