Drop & Withdrawal

Students are responsible for making any adjustments to their registration in accordance with the calendar.

Students may drop a course offered through Outreach Credit Programs before it begins, after attending only the first class session, or during the official drop period, whichever occurs last. No evidence of the dropped course will appear on the student’s official transcript. Withdrawals will appear on the students’ official transcript and will be subject to varying refunds based on the class time elapsed. Non-attendance does not constitute withdrawal from a course.

To drop or withdraw from a class, login into WyoWeb using your UW username and password, click on the 'Student Resources' tab, and then click on the 'Registration Tools' channel to drop a course and the 'Student Forms or Petitions' channel to withdraw from a course.

ATTENTION: Withdrawal from all of your classes in the spring or fall semesters — even if you are enrolled in only one course—is considered an All School Withdrawal. To initiate an All School Withdrawal, call Outreach Credit Programs at (800) 448-7801.

Spring 2013 Deadlines

January

    24    Last day to drop or change sections in semester courses
    28    Last day to add, late register, change health insurance & grading options in semester courses

April

     5     Last day to withdraw from individual semester classes
    26    Last day to withdraw from the university for Spring 2013
