About the School

The vision of the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy is to be sought after for the unique opportunities afforded by our high-quality pharmacy program. The UW School of Pharmacy offers a four-year program of study leading to the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree as the only entry-level professional degree in pharmacy.

  • Our program is nationally accredited and our graduates consistently score higher than the national average on licensure examinations.

  • A University of Wyoming Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree meets the educational requirements for registration as a pharmacist in Wyoming, all other states, and in the District of Columbia.

They have been continuously recognized nationally and internationally for their teaching and research achievements and contributions to the scientific and clinical fields.

Where is the School located?

The University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy is located in Laramie, which is in southeast Wyoming, about 45 miles west of Cheyenne, the state capital.
