Education

Bio

Dr. Salama received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2020 from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) in Albany, New York. She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency in 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She then moved back to NY to complete her PGY2 in ambulatory care at ACPHS. Dr. Salama’s practice site is at the University of Wyoming Family Medicine Residency Program in Cheyenne, WY. Her practice and research interests include diabetes, hypertension, obesity, dyslipidemia, tobacco cessation, women’s health, geriatrics, team-based care, transitions of care, patient education and underserved populations.

Dr. Salama currently teaches in the Therapeutics series, Clinical Pharmacokinetics, and Skills Lab. Her current rotation offerings include ambulatory care I and II. Dr. Salama is actively involved in both state and national pharmacy organizations, including ACCP, ASHP, AACP, APhA, WPhA, and STFM.
