COVID-19 resources

  • Vital Resources for Pre-Professional Health students

    • This document not only includes a list of important resources provided by UW for those who are in need of specific assistance, but it also provides information about the COVID-19 impacts on certain professions' application processes and ways to think about volunteering and shadowing during this time. On the second page of the document, you will see a clearinghouse website of professional organization websites. If you are applying this cycle, please note that the best source of information will be the websites of the schools to which you are applying, because they will be providing information about the ways they will / will not be adjusting things for this cycle. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Craig or April.

  • Notes from the open forum between Pre-Professional Health advisors and students on April 23rd

    • In this open forum, we discussed how professional schools may have adjusted their expectations for applicants, and other ramifications of COVID-19 for pre-professional health students.

  • Stay up to date with professional school organizations and testing services. The National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP) has collected several links from professional school organizations. The links are primarily for students applying, but may be useful for decisions about online courses, S/U grades and similar.
