They are members of the University of Wyoming Science Posse.

This group of graduate students in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) has a passion for science and education that they share with middle and high school students and teachers throughout the state.

Like their predecessors in the old West, the Science Posse figuratively bands together to help their neighbors across the state. They bring their expertise into classrooms and engage students in ways their teachers cannot. When they leave, the Posse members', teachers' and students' lives have all been enriched.
