Faculty and staff in the department are responsible for delivery of teacher certification programs for those individuals desiring to teach students in grades 6-12 in content-specific subjects and for the delivery of graduate programs in conjunction with the Departments of Elementary and Early Childhood Education and Educational Studies in providing our graduate program through the Curriculum and Instruction graduate program.
We are very proud of our teacher education programs and of the graduates we provide to fill the classrooms in the public schools of Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain region, as well as schools across the country. Current undergraduate programs include:
