There are a variety of activities offered on campus, check out the UW events page.

Also there are amazing concerts and plays put on at UW. Take a moment to visit the Fine Arts box office for a list of events. SSS students can get vouchers from their advisors to cover the cost of most tickets purchased through the UW Fine Arts Box Office.

New Student Orientation

Wed. Aug. 24th, 5-6pm in COE Library Room 506

Come and meet your SSS advisor. We will be serving dinner and going over some of the basics of the perks and expectations of SSS students.

Welcome Back BBQ

Thursday September 1st, 11am-1pm at the green space on Ivinson at Merica Hall

We will be having a welcome back BBQ for all of our students on Thursday Sept. 1st from 11am-1pm. It will be held on the green area called the Ivinson Hollows. It is located in Ivinson in front of Merica Hall at approx. 12th and Ivinson. Come say hi and welcome our two new advisors!

FAFSA Assisstance Sessions

Oct. 6th 9am-11:30am and Oct. 26th 3:30pm-6pm in the upstairs dining area in the Union

Well this school year has barely started and we are asking you to start thinking of next year already! Come see us in the Union for help with your FAFSA!! Bring a friend, it will be open to all students.

Resume Building Workshop

November 9th, 12pm-1pm

Green Johnson Student Success Center Case Room in the College of Business

Come and get tips for resume building with Allison Brayton, a career counselor with ACES here at UW. After discussing some basics we will have laptops available for some real time assistance.

End of Semester Brunch

Dec. 9th, 11am-1pm COE Library Room 506

Celebrate the end of fall semester with us, and wish our fall graduates luck as they prepare for commencement. Get some food and take a moment to relax before finals!
