Crisis Intervention for Students

 

If you or someone you know is in crisis or contemplating suicide, please contact the Crisis Intervention support team immediately. Crisis Intervention & Support is available to students at any time.

Monday - Friday regular business hours, call (307) 766-2187 and inform our receptionist of your crisis.& For hours, visit the Crisis Intervention & Support page.

For after-hours crises, call (307) 766-8989.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911. 

 

988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

 

At any time or any place, calling or texting 988 or chatting 988lifeline.org will connect a person in crisis to compassionate care and support for any mental health or substance use-related distress. Anyone—a person in crisis, or someone supporting a person in crisis&can reach 988 in the United States through any land line, cell phone, and voice-over internet device. Find more information.

In 2020, Congress designated the new 988 dialing code to be operated through the existing National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
