Who Can Apply?
You are eligible to attend Summer Bridge if you meet the following requirements:
- You are a first-time freshman who has graduated/will graduate from high school during
the 2023-2024 academic year or you have taken a gap year. Exception: Veterans Summer
Bridge accepts current and former members of the military branches who may have graduated
prior to this period.
- You have been admitted to the University of Wyoming and plan to enroll during the
2024 Fall semester.
- You want to enroll in six credits of coursework during the summer before your first
fall semester on campus.
- You have completed and submitted all required Summer Bridge documentation by the required Dates & Deadlines. Wyoming residents must complete both the 2023–2024 and 2024-2025
FAFSA forms by May 15 in order to receive financial aid for Summer Bridge.
- Honors Summer Bridge: You must be an enrolled student in the Honors College to apply. Honors College Application. Questions on the Honors College Application can be directly at honors@uwyo.edu or 307-766-4110.
- Math Summer Bridge Bridge: You have a math ACT score between 17 and 26 or SAT between 470 and 630.
- Veterans Summer Bridge: You are currently or have served in a branch of the military and wish to brush up
on your math skills.
Please Note: This program is not intended for transfer or nontraditional students. However, the
University of Wyoming has many transfer and non-traditional student resources.
