Renting Made Easy 

1. Complete an MVR

• New users submit a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) per UW Policy

  • Check the status of your request through the same portal

2. Submit a User Registration Form - if you are a new user, returning customers move to step 3!

• Click Sign Up Now

  • Upon approval, you will receive a 'Welcome Email' with your username and password.

3. Supervisor Approval

• Your supervisor will need to send an email to fleet@uwyo.edu granting permission.

• Specify if the approval is to “rent” and or “drive” vehicles on behalf of the department. 

4. Reserve Your Vehicle!

• In Fleet Commander select Make Reservation and complete your request form

  • At any time, you can view your reservations on the 'My Schedule' tab. Changes and cancellations are available on FleetCommander until 24 hours prior to your reservation. After the 24 hour period, contact Car Rental Services at 766-3229

  • Need ADA Accommodation? Please contact us!

• Check your email 4 hours prior to your reservation for pick-up time.

5. Enjoy the Ride!

• Vehicles can be returned by parking in the South Express Lot at 15th and Spring Creek. Lock the vehicle and return the keys to the desk or key drop box if after hours.

Day Parking Permits

Purchase can be made during online checkout or at time of pickup. Fee of $7.00 dollars per permit. Find more information on Day Parking Permits.

Motor Vehicle Record Reminder

Anyone who wishes to drive a University, personal or rental vehicle on UW business must complete the Motor Vehicle Record process in order to be in compliance with the policy.  Please visit the Risk Management web site for information and to complete the MVR process.
