School Improvement Conference to Feature Best

Best-selling author Jason Ryan Dorsey will be the keynote speaker at the 2008 School Improvement Conference, March 3-4 at the Parkway Plaza in Casper.


Coordinated by Conferences and Institutes at the University of Wyoming Outreach School, the bi-annual conference provides 800 teachers from across the state with tools and trends affecting educators today.


Early registration begins March 2 at 4 p.m. and March 3 at 6:30 a.m. A block of rooms is available at Casper's Parkway Plaza, Holiday Inn, Days Inn, and Best Western Ramkota hotels.

Dorsey's first best-seller, "Graduate to Your Perfect Job," was written when he was 18 and is now a course in 1,600 schools and colleges. Now 29, he has appeared on 60 Minutes, 20/20, The Today Show, and The View.


The conference will also feature former classroom teacher and curriculum coordinator Annette L. Breaux, who is now the Teacher Induction coordinator for Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La.


The Wyoming North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement and the Wyoming Department of Education sponsor the conference.
