The student government of the Associated Students of the University of Wyoming (ASUW) will hold "ASUW Students' Day at the Legislature" Monday, Feb. 18.
That afternoon, approximately 20 UW students from around Wyoming will
travel to the Capitol to observe the Wyoming State Legislature, learn
more about the legislative process, and meet with individual legislators
to discuss issues important to UW students. Several ASUW senators and
freshmen senators will participate.
"Through this event, ASUW hopes to educate students about their state
government and foster a positive dialogue between students and their
legislators," says Lindsey Kroskob, ASUW public relations director.
