At the existing building, finish work continues from the top down. Painting will start on the upper level and drywall installation will finish up on the main level.

Interior framing continues along with electrical and mechanical rough-ins. Drywall is in progress. Exterior stucco on the addition will be complete this week. The existing air handler demolition will also be complete this week. The construction completion is scheduled for March 2009.

The UW Physical Plant reports the following activities scheduled for the week:

15th Street -- The City of Laramie is installing a concrete apron around a manhole east of Wyo Hall. Work should be complete by mid week, but the area will remain blocked off most of next week to allow the concrete to cure.

College of Engineering -- The Paint Shop will begin painting public areas in the new Engineering building next week. Please use caution around work areas and be aware of sensitivities to paint odors.

College of Agriculture -- Replacement of hallway lighting will begin on the ground, first and second floors in the old Ag Building next week. Work should continue for about two weeks. Please use caution when walking around work areas.

Half Acre -- Window replacement has been completed. Plaster repair, caulking and painting are continuing. The sidewalk on the north side of the building has been opened temporarily but will be closed again when caulking and painting activities progress to the north side of the building.
