These are among the public events scheduled at the University of Wyoming Monday, Jan. 26, through Sunday, Feb. 1.

Tuesday, Jan. 27, 6 p.m. -- Men's basketball, Wyoming vs. Air Force, Arena-Auditorium.

Wednesday, Jan. 28, 8 p.m. -- UW Student Activities Council presents singer Dan Craig, Wyoming Union ballroom. Free.

Thursday, Jan. 29, 1 p.m. -- UW Department of Music presents the Chair's Honor Convocation, student performances, Fine Arts Center concert hall. Free.

Friday, Jan. 30, 6 p.m. -- Opening reception for the annual Juried Student Exhibition, UW Art Museum; awards will be announced at 6:30 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 30, 6-9 p.m. -- A swing dance benefitting Kenyan orphans, music by UW Jazz Ensembles, Union Pacific Train Depot, 600 S. First St. in Laramie. Donations accepted.

Friday, Jan. 30, 7:30 p.m. -- UW Faculty Recital Series presents Around the World and Back, Fine Arts Center concert hall. Tickets cost $5 for students and senior citizens, and $7 for others.

Saturday, Jan. 31, 2 p.m. -- Women's basketball, Wyoming vs. BYU, Arena-Auditorium.

Sunday, Feb. 1-Saturday, Feb. 14 -- The Afghan Women's Project, photographs, biographies and interviews with Afghan women. They are of differing ages, social classes, ethnic groups and areas of the country. UW Fine Arts Building Lobby.
