Three bands will perform Saturday, March 7, beginning as 7:30 p.m. in a benefit show for the Naughty Pines Derby Dames, Wyoming's first roller derby team.
The event is scheduled at JJ's Bar, at the corner of Second and Custer streets. The Upbeat Project, the Neo-Nostalgics and Patti Fiasco will perform live. There is a $3 per person cover charge.
"Cheer on your favorite derby dame in the pillow fight contest or enter to win the cash raffle," says Club President Jennifer Dunn of Casper, a University of Wyoming graduate student in communication. She encourages everyone to bring a name for the team's first competition, scheduled for April 25. The winner receives a free Naughty Pine's shirt.
