The University of Wyoming Police Department (UWPD) recently hired five new officers and announced two promotions.
Officers Chad Bade, Melinda Miller, Benjamin Raymer and Michael Vessely have joined UWPD in the past 10 months; Ashlynne K. Nutter will become an officer in May following her graduation from UW.
In January, UWPD promoted officers James Alexander and Cody Anderson to the rank of sergeant.
Alexander has worked with UWPD for 10 years and has more than 20 years of experience in law enforcement. A UW graduate, Anderson has worked the past eight years with the department.
