Fraternity Ritual Revealed for First Time to Public

September 17, 2009

Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity will perform a public pledging ceremony for the first time in the chapter's 92 years at the University of Wyoming. It will be held at noon Sunday, Sept. 27, in the Wyoming Union Family Room.

"The public pledging ceremony allows families, friends, professors and fellow students to join us as we honor our newest members" says SAE President Matt Haigler.

SAE's public pledging is its first major event of this semester. The fraternity will host other events throughout the year to promote and raise money for Albany County SAFE Project and Children's Miracle Network, SAE's local and national philanthropies.
