A Verizon Wireless spokesman says technicians are working to restore phone service to customers in northern Colorado and southern Wyoming, including the Laramie and Cheyenne areas. He says it appears a switch, which routes wireless calls, failed around 2 a.m. Workers have been trying to fix the problem and say they hope to have it fixed later today.
