The UW Staff Senate has selected three individuals to receive recognition as the Advocates of Staff for 2010.
They are Ned Feldbush, a manager in the Human Resources Department; Jamie Huber LeJambre, office assistant senior in the Department of Political Science; and former UW employee Josie Montez.
Staff Senate leaders say, "The Advocate of Staff award will be given to an individual, department or outside entity that demonstrates a commitment to the university staff by their willingness to go ‘above and beyond' regular work duties to further the mission of the university. This award honors those who care deeply about the university and strive relentlessly to make it great while serving as an inspiration and role model to colleagues."
