Football Ticket Price Discounts Offered to UW Employees
As part of its Employee Appreciation Program, the UW athletics department is offering two football game ticket discounts to thank the UW community for its support.
UW employees can purchase up to two 2010 Cowboy football season tickets for $142 each, a savings of $40 off the regular price. The tickets are for six home games versus Southern Utah, Boise State, Air Force, Utah, San Diego State and rival Colorado State.
Additional season tickets may be purchased at a discounted price of $170, while supplies last. Available only to UW employees, the discount tickets can be purchased by visiting the UW Athletic Ticket Office, West Willett entrance of the Arena-Auditorium, Monday-Friday between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Valid faculty/staff IDs are required.
Second, UW employees are invited to enjoy Employee Appreciation Day activities Saturday, Sept. 4, when the pokes take on Southern Utah University. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will feature the grand re-opening celebration of War Memorial Stadium and a post-game fireworks show.
Single game tickets will cost $15 for those who purchase or already have purchased 2010 Wyoming football season tickets, a savings of 50 percent off the regular price. Employees who do not have season tickets can buy a single game ticket for $20, a $10 discount form the regular price.
Finally, free popcorn is offered to all UW employees attending the Southern Utah game. Have your faculty/staff ID ready and visit the advanced sales ticket booth located near Gate 8, northwest corner of War Memorial Stadium, and receive a coupon. There are no limits on Southern Utah tickets purchased, while supplies last.
