The potential security threat posed by North Korea will be among panel discussion topics Thursday, Nov. 18, from 3-5 p.m., in Room 133 of the University of Wyoming Classroom Building.
A panel discussion, "S.O.S. North Korea, Confronting the Nuclear and Human Security Challenges of Kim Jong Il's DPRK," will be given by UW's International Studies Program and the Korea Economic Institute, based in Washington D.C.
Panelists will examine the living conditions of the North Korean people, the potential security threats that the country's regime poses for the world and the Korean peninsula's future.
Panelists are Kevin Logan, FBI; Min Suh Son, U.S. Department of State; Nicole Finnemann, Korea Economic Institute; and Jean Garrison, UW International Studies Program director.
