December 17, 2010 — Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal will join the University of Wyoming College of Law as a distinguished visiting professor for three semesters starting in spring 2011. Freudenthal, who will complete his second term as governor on Jan. 3, 2011, will lead a seminar in energy, law and economics. While his appointment is to the College of Law, it's anticipated that he may also work on special projects with the UW College of Business and the UW School of Energy Resources.

December 17, 2010 — King Air’s latest research mission was a success. It may also have been a springboard. The University of Wyoming’s uniquely-instrumented research aircraft -- equipped with numerous specialized meteorological sensors and data recording equipment -- made its return to international skies earlier this fall, flying over Finland for five weeks on a NASA-funded experiment that has bolstered King Air’s already-impressive resume and rejuvenated its appeal to researchers across the United States.
December 17, 2010 — Willett Drive is scheduled to be closed from 22nd Street to Crane Street beginning Tuesday, Dec. 21, through Monday, Dec. 27, and will re-open Tuesday, Dec. 28, for utility work at the University of Wyoming’s Visual Arts Center construction project.
