Suzanne Pelican Retirement Reception

January 3, 2011 — A retirement reception for Suzanne Pelican, senior extension educator in the UW Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 7, from 3:30-5 p.m. in Room 137 of the College of Agriculture building.

A specialist in food safety and promotion of healthy lifestyles, Pelican joined the UW faculty in 1997. She holds an M.S. (1979) and a B.S. (1976) in food science and nutrition from Colorado State University; and a B.A. (1971) in sociology from Drake University.
