The New York Times is available free of charge during the UW summer session. Academic sponsors will provide 340 copies of the newspaper every class day.

"The readership program encourages discourse and broadens awareness of national and international events," says Maggie Farrell, dean of libraries. "The program is used in a number of courses to provide current readings on national issues."

The New York Times is available at the following locations:

Cheney International Center, Classroom Building, Coe Library, Education Annex, Half Acre Gym, Health Science Atrium, Old Main, Ross Hall, Washakie Center and the Wyoming Union.

The program's sponsors are: Academic Affairs; colleges of Arts and Sciences,  Education and Health Sciences; Ellbogen Center for Teaching and Learning; UW Libraries; Outreach School; International Programs; and the Research Office.
