Molina Opens for Lupe Fiasco Concert Jan. 20 at UW

Molina is the opening act for the Lupe Fiasco concert at 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20 in the Arts and Sciences auditorium.

Hip-hopper Molina is the opening act for the Lupe Fiasco concert Friday, Jan. 20, at 8 p.m. in the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences auditorium.

Tickets for the show are sold out. A limited number of tickets will be released for sale the night of the show. A waiting list for tickets will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the box office window in the A&S auditorium lobby. For more information, call the Fine Arts box office at (307) 766-6666.

In 2007, Molina came into the independent music scene, inspiring people with his household brand of spoken word poetry. Speaking and acting on social issues, he works with youth of all ages and social demographics. Molina has spoken at many colleges and universities.

Molina's lyrical releases span the genres of hip-hop, neo-soul, jazz, spoken word and experimental music. His recent releases include "Soulaju," "Name & Town" and "Build 2020 Manifesto" along with a string of singles with DJ Icewater titled "Fam Biz," "Southwest Heartthrob," "Garvey" and "Occupy."
