UW President Plans Session for Employees Outside of Laramie Oct. 7

University of Wyoming President Bob Sternberg will host his first “town meeting” for faculty and staff members working outside of Laramie on Monday, Oct. 7, from 11 a.m. to noon.

This question-and-answer session is designed for faculty and staff from across the state to bring their questions about the new president and his vision for UW, and for President Sternberg to learn more about the impressions they have about UW. 

This session will be available at the following locations:

--Casper, Casper College campus, Administration Building, Room 4.

--Cheyenne, LCCC campus, Enterprise Center, Room AB208.

--Gillette, UW Regional Office, Room 171M.

--Jackson, Center for the Arts, Room 118.

--Laramie, Wyo Hall, Room 327.

--Powell, Northwest College, Orendorff Building, Room122.

--Riverton, Intertribal Education and Community Center, Room 105.

--Rock Springs, Western Wyoming Community College campus, Room 1229E.

--Sheridan, Watt Agriculture Building, Room 111.

--Torrington, EWC Tebbet Building, Room 252.

Staff members will be allowed one hour of release time to attend the town meeting. The scheduling of release time should be a collaborative discussion between employee and supervisor to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the unit.
