August 21, 2014 — Student tickets will be sold beginning Monday, Aug. 25, for comedian Nick Offerman’s performance at the University of Wyoming.
Offerman will perform Friday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. in the UW College of Arts and Sciences auditorium, as part of Family Weekend activities at UW.
Student tickets will be available for $15. Students also may purchase premium seats for $20. Public ticket sales start Monday, Sept. 8, and will cost $25 or $30 for premium seats. Tickets are available at the Wyoming Union information desk, Performing Arts box office or www.uwyo.edu/finearts.
Offerman is known for his work as Ron Swanson on "Parks and Recreation," for which he received the Television Critics Award for Individual Achievement in Comedy. He also is known for his roles in "We're the Millers" and "21 Jump Street."
Last October, Offerman released a book titled "Paddle Your Own Canoe: One Man's Fundamentals for Delicious Living," in which he shares his humorous ruminations on life, manliness, meat and, of course, growing the perfect mustache.
