Monday, April 13, 3:10 p.m. -- Department of Geology and Geophysics Distinguished Lecturer Series presents Ellen Currano, UW Department of Botany assistant professor, S.H. Knight Geology Building Room 216. Free.

Tuesday, April 14, noon -- School of Energy Resources Speaker Series presents Eric Grunsky, Geological Survey of Canada research scientist, Classroom Building Room 103. Free.

Tuesday, April 14, 12:30 p.m. -- Safe Zone training on sexual violence, Wyoming Union Room 202. Free.

Tuesday, April 14, 5:30 p.m. -- Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Program visiting writer public reading, Claudia Rankine, UW Art Museum. Free.

Tuesday, April 14, 7 p.m. -- Art Talk with visiting artist Kathryn Spence, Visual Arts Building Room 111. Free.

Tuesday, April 14, 8 p.m. -- UW Concerts and Convocations presents Country Music Association New Artist of the Year Brett Eldredge, College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Open to UW students, faculty, staff and their guests. Tickets cost $20 with a valid WyoOne ID.

Wednesday, April 15, 3 p.m. -- Just in Time Job Fair, Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center. Free.

Thursday, April 16, 9 a.m. -- Jean Watson, professor and dean emerita at Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Center, “Caring Science: Disciplinary Foundation for Nursing,” Wyoming Union West Ballroom. Free.

Thursday, April 16, 11 a.m.-3:45 p.m. -- Students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program will present their final projects, Wyoming Union West Ballroom. Free.

Thursday, April 16, 5:30 p.m. -- Science Café, Altitude Chophouse and Brewery. Science presentations by UW graduate students; sponsored by the UW Biodiversity Institute. Dinner provided to the first 30 attendees. Free.

Thursday, April 16, 7:30 p.m. -- UW Symphony Orchestra season finale, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. Tickets cost $6 for students, $7 for seniors and $10 for adults.

Friday, April 17 -- Wilderness and remote first aid class, Corbett Building Room 103. Cost is $91 for students and $119 for faculty/staff.

Friday, April 17, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. -- John P. Ellbogen 30K Entrepreneurship Competition, College of Business Building Room 123. Free.

Friday, April 17, noon -- School of Energy Resources Speaker Series presents Tara Righetti, UW College of Law assistant professor, Energy Innovation Center Room 201. Free.

Friday, April 17, noon -- Geography Brown Bag Series presents Association of American Geographers student practice presentations, College of Arts and Sciences Room 401. Free.

Friday, April 17, 7 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Neptune the Mystic.” A Lady Gaga laser show follows at 8:20 p.m. Tickets cost $2 for students and $3 for nonstudents, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in Room 204 of the Physical Sciences Building.

Sunday, April 19 -- Opening of Garrett Scarince and Anna Edwards-Siess student exhibitions, “This and That” gallery, Visual Arts Building. Free.
