Guest Saxophonist Clifford Leaman to Perform at UW Oct. 13

Classical saxophonist Clifford Leaman will perform with guest pianist Joseph Rackers Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m. as part of the University of Wyoming Department of Music’s Faculty Recital Series. 

The free performance will take place in the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts recital hall.

Leaman is in great demand as a soloist and clinician. He has performed and taught throughout the United States, Canada, Italy, Spain, France, Slovenia, Sweden, Thailand and China, where he was a featured guest artist eight times since 2004. He also has released three critically acclaimed CDs.

Leaman serves as saxophone professor, associate dean and director of undergraduate studies for the School of Music at the University of South Carolina.
