UW Homecoming Parade Winners Announced

UniWyo Federal Credit Union was named the overall winner in the University of Wyoming Homecoming parade Saturday, Oct. 17. Sigma Chi Fraternity was named the winner of the student competition.

Other winners in the adjudicated float categories were:

Most Original Float -- Sigma Nu.

Best Use of Theme -- UW Staff Senate.

On-campus Walking Group -- UW Nordic Ski Club.

Off-campus Walking Group -- UniWyo Federal Credit Union.

Off-campus Commercial -- Laramie Board of Realtors.

There were 75 entries including floats, walkers, marching bands and other entries. The parade theme was “Once a Cowboy, Always a Cowboy.”
