The session will be offered via video conference to the following locations:

Cheyenne -- Education and Enrichment Center Room 213, Laramie County Community College, 1400 E. College Drive.

Torrington -- Lincoln Community Complex Room 153, 436 E. 22nd St.

Administration and faculty from UW’s Department of Professional Studies will be available to answer questions and offer information on the application process. The program, which is nationally accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs for more than 30 years, will help to create more professional counselors in the state, a need determined through research and assistance from the Casper Area Economic Development Alliance.

The Casper-based program is designed for individuals who are seeking a master’s degree in counseling, but who are unable to participate in a Laramie-based program. Courses will be offered on weekends over a three-year period beginning fall 2016, mostly meeting on Friday evenings and all day Saturday in Casper.
