With the release of the new film “Trumbo,” a modern and classical languages professor will examine how Dalton Trumbo’s screenplay “Spartacus” signaled the end of the notorious Hollywood blacklist on this week’s University of Wyoming podcast, “The University of Wyoming Today.”
In other program segments, a geographer will explain how place names were added to old maps, and a plant scientist will discuss a curriculum for teaching organic agriculture anywhere in the United States. Additionally, a geologist will describe new findings on ways that sediment shapes the landscape in California’s High Sierra.
