SBDC Webinar Focuses on How to Make This Changing Economy Work for You

Today’s economy is rapidly changing. A Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network webinar will provide some answers as to how businesses can better understand how today’s economy has changed; how these changes have affected customers and employees; and how this combination of events impacts businesses.

Meridith Powell, an award-winning author, speaker and business strategist, will teach attendees how to attract more business, retain top talent and leap into a position to win in the new economy during an SBDC webinar Thursday, Oct. 6, 2-3 p.m. Powell’s background includes corporate sales and leadership. Her career includes positions in several industries, including banking, health care and finance; and she has written several books.

The SBDC is a partnership among the University of Wyoming, the Wyoming Business Council and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBDC focuses on educating small-business owners and potential owners on how to successfully start and operate small businesses. The SBDC’s main office is located at UW.

The program is free, but attendees must register online at www.WyomingSBDC.org.
