Early Darkness Provides More Night Sky Viewing During December UW Planetarium Programs

The days may be getting shorter, but that just provides more darkness to view objects in the night sky. Mars, the sun and the solar system are subjects of some of the astronomy programs at the Harry C. Vaughan University of Wyoming Planetarium in December.

UW Receives DOE Funding for Carbon Capture and Storage Projects

The University of Wyoming will receive nearly $2.4 million from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for research aimed at laying the groundwork for two commercial carbon capture and storage projects in Wyoming.

Surveys Show High Student Satisfaction at UW

More than 90 percent of University of Wyoming students are pleased with their UW education, according to the latest UW Student Satisfaction Survey (UWSSS).
