August 31, 2017 — Kristian Nairn, who played the popular character Hodor in “Game of Thrones,” will perform his music at the University of Wyoming Thursday, Sept. 7, at 8 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Gardens, located in the lower level. 7220 Entertainment and Studio WYO will host the event, which is free and open to the public.

August 16, 2017 — Researchers in the Department of Veterinary Sciences at the University of Wyoming will use a $149,000 grant from the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research to help develop a quicker, cheaper and more accurate test to detect brucellosis.

People dropping off items are asked to enter between 11th and 12th streets off of Ivinson Street.

August 11, 2017 — A University of Wyoming master’s degree student is an astronaut candidate with NASA’s Human Exploration Research Analog (HERA). HERA is a unique, three-story habitat designed to serve as an analog for isolation, confinement and remote conditions in space exploration scenarios, according to the NASA website.
