UW Staff Award Nominations Accepted Through Feb. 21

The University of Wyoming Staff Senate seeks nominations for individual awards and a new team award to be presented during its 2019 Staff Recognition Day.

The deadline for nominations is Thursday, Feb. 21. Nomination forms for each award and the value of prizes can be found at www.uwyo.edu/staffsenate/recognition/awards/. New this year is an All-Star Team Staff Award that honors up to four UW staff members who have worked together as a team to complete a project; create a new program of process; or facilitate a significant transition to a current project, program or process at UW.

All award winners will be honored at Staff Recognition Day Thursday, April 4, in the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center.

Award categories are:

-- Employee of the Quarter Award.

-- Employee of the Year Award.

-- All-Star Team Staff Award.

-- E.G. Meyer Family Award.

-- Jodi K. Humphrey Inspirational Staff Award.

-- Unsung Hero Award.

-- Off-Campus Award.

-- Pete Simpson Golden Gloves Award.

-- Skilled Trades Award.

-- Custodian of the Year Award.

-- Supervisor of the Year Award.

-- True Grit Award.
