May 31, 2019 — Midstream oil and gas operations are increasingly faced with costly, highly scrutinized events that stem from aging (leaks and explosions), natural occurrences (floods, seismic activity and extreme weather), and cyber intrusion and attack. One approach to address these issues involves the use of integrated, intelligent monitoring and control systems -- or secure embedded intelligence (SEI).

May 28, 2019 — A paper examining farm productivity and innovation, co-written by a faculty member in the University of Wyoming’s Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics, has received honors from the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association.

May 28, 2019 — University of Wyoming nursing faculty member J’Laine Proctor was selected by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) to participate in the 2019 AACN-Apple Digital Innovation Boot Camp in Austin, Texas, this summer.

May 28, 2019 — A University of Wyoming alumnus who has 25 years of small business experience has been hired to serve as associate state director of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network.
May 24, 2019 — A memorial service for former University of Wyoming head wrestling Coach Steven Suder, who died earlier in the week, will be Tuesday, May 28, at 2 p.m. in the UniWyo Sports Complex. At the time of his death, Suder was an academic advising professional for UW’s Advising Career and Exploratory Studies.

May 24, 2019 — The caramelized and long-cooked leg of lamb, skewered marinated kabobs, chops and slow-cooked shoulder meat brought into the classroom were the tip of the iceberg in the animal science class at the University of Wyoming.

May 23, 2019 — Kwanna King has been selected as the new University of Wyoming registrar following a national search. She begins her duties Wednesday, May 29.
