July 7, 2022 — The dean of the University of Wyoming’s Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources, John Koprowski, has been named the 2022 recipient of The Wildlife Society’s Aldo Leopold Memorial Award, the highest award given by the 11,000-member organization of professional wildlife scientists.

July 5, 2022 — University of Wyoming parking permits for 2022-23 will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday, July 6. Some permits first require individuals to enter a waitlist, with the first round of awards being issued Wednesday.
July 5, 2022 — The University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources (SER) is seeking proposals from current UW faculty members on hydrogen energy. Topics of interest for the proposals include all levels of the supply chain, such as hydrogen production, use, transportation and storage.

July 1, 2022 — Nine semifinalist companies have been selected to move on to the next stage of the inaugural Sweetwater County Innovation Launchpad, a startup competition. The contest is administered by IMPACT Sweetwater, a partnership between the University of Wyoming’s IMPACT 307 and Western Wyoming Community College.
