State, national and international media frequently feature the University of Wyoming and members of its community in stories. Here is a summary of some of the recent coverage:

UW geologists Brad Carr and Ken Sims are among scientists studying how life might have originated on Earth by studying the ecosystem inside Yellowstone National Park, according to News Live TV and The Casper Star-Tribune (CS-T).

The CS-T also reported that UW marketing and finance Associate Professor Elizabeth Minton and her husband, Daniel, recently were recognized by Guinness World Records for erecting a two-person tent with a time of 1 minute and 7 seconds.
