Laramie County is 2,686 square miles and has a population of 81,607. Laramie County is primarily high prairie grasses and the average elevation is approximately 6,000 feet. The economic base is agriculture in the form of farming and ranching and large industry.
Annie's Project - is a course especially for women who work in and around Ag. Sessions in the six-week program include presentations and discussions focused on the participants' questions. Annie's Project gives farm women the opportunity to learn from female agricultural professionals and connect with other women in similar situations to help them develop their management and decision-making skills for their operations.
