National Association for Geriatric Education Centers
The National Association for Geriatric Education Centers (NAGEC) is dedicated to improving the education/training, supply, distribution, and quality of healthcare professionals through strong community-academic partnerships.

National Professional Associations

Alzheimer's Association
The Alzheimer’s Association is a national organization that provides education and information about Alzheimer’s disease. Information is available for professionals, family members and patients with topics including Dementia Care Provider Roundtable, Dementia Care Practice Recommendations, and Dementia Care Training and Certification.

AMDA - Dedicated to Long-Term Care Medicine
AMDA, formerly known as the American Medical Directors Association, represents the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. This professional association is geared towards physicians, medical directors, and others practicing in long-term care. AMDA is dedicated to excellence in patient care and provides education, advocacy, information, and professional development to promote the delivery of quality long-term care.

American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine
The American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine offers educational opportunities and information about end-of-life care.

American Geriatrics Society (AGS)
AGS provides information about geriatrics to professionals and the public. The site provides resources for clinical practice, a directory of agencies, education, conferences, and research.

American Psychological Association Office on Aging
The American Psychological Association Office on Aging provides information on Programs and Services, Aging Policy Issues, Journal Articles on Aging Issues, and Press Releases on Aging Issues.

Council of Professional Geropsychology Training Programs (CoPGTP)
CoPGTP promotes geropsychology training based on the Pikes Peak model for training. The site offers information about the model and resources for different levels of training.

Gerontological Society of America
The Gerontological Society of America provides information for professionals and students on Programs & Services, Publications, and Meetings & Events.

National Association for Geriatric Education Centers (NAGEC)
NAGEC supports the national network of Geriatric Education Centers (GECs) which are dedicated to improving the education/training, supply, distribution, and quality of healthcare professionals through strong community-academic partnerships.

National PACE Association
Programs of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) programs for the elderly aim to improve quality of life, provide affordable health care, and allow more elderly people to live at home rather than long-term care facilities. This site provides information on educational opportunities, federal policy, and state resources.

Alzheimer's Association: Wyoming Chapter
The Wyoming Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This organization serves all of Wyoming. This chapter offers support groups, educational programs for caregivers, and training for professionals.

Mountain-Pacific Quality Health
Mountain-Pacific Quality Health works with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and other quality care organizations to improve health care. This organization serves individuals living in Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub)

St. John's Institute for Cognitive Health
St. John’s Institute for Cognitive Health is an affiliate of the University of Utah Center for Alzheimer’s Care. This organization provides Memory Loss Treatment in Jackson Hole, Continuous Support for Patients & Their Families, and Pre-Registration & Forms.

Wyoming Home Health & Hospice Services
The Wyoming Department of Health provides information on home health services and hospice services available under Medicaid.

Wyoming Hospital Association (WHA)
WHA is a member-owned, private, non-profit organization representing Wyoming hospitals. WHA serves as the voice of Wyoming hospitals before local, state, regional, and national legislative and regulatory bodies; the media; and the general public.

Wyoming Medical Society (WMS)
WMS provides Advocacy, Resources, and Membership to Wyoming physicians.

Wyoming Pharmacy Association (WPhA)
The WPhA provides information to pharmacists and technicians in Wyoming about Publications, Resources, and CE & Events to improve the medication use and quality of life of their patients.

Wyoming Physical Therapy Association (WYPTA)
