The University of Wyoming has established an annual site license for software produced by Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI). This includes ArcView, ARC/Info, ArcGIS, as well as ESRI's IMS (Internet Map Service) products. All products are listed below, with links containing descriptions, system requirements, and other information.

Training courses (from 1 to 3 days) are available at the University of Wyoming for ArcGIS. University staff/students can also take free Virtual Campus courses on-line to learn about GIS and how to use ESRI's GIS software products. Please contact to obtain the course access codes.

Spatial data for Wyoming is available through the Wyoming Geolibrary. The Geolibrary features data for Wyoming including: roads, cities, streams/lakes, political boundaries, elevation, digital aerial photography, and many other themes.
ESRI's ArcData is also available to download, including world datasets, USA datasets, and other sample data.
