The University of Wyoming has established an annual site license for software produced by Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI). This includes ArcView, ARC/Info, ArcGIS, as well as ESRI's IMS (Internet Map Service) products. All products are listed below, with links containing descriptions, system requirements, and other information.
These products may be installed on any computer owned by the University of Wyoming. For installation instructions (UW Faculty, Staff and Students) visit the UW Ask IT Help Document for installing 10.4 ESRI ArcGIS software.
For assistance borrowing a license for a UW computer that will be taken off the network (for field work) visit the UW Ask IT Help Document for borrowing licenses.
For information on Student Editions of ArcGIS Desktop 10.4 contact the UW IT Help Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 307-766-4357 Option 1 or visit their website. Student additions can be used on personal computers for registered UW students, and are good for one year from activation.
