WHAT IS WYOMING INBRE?

The goal of Wyoming INBRE 3 is to continue to build on the accomplishments of the 13 years of National Institutes for Health Biomedical Research Infrastructure (BRIN) Phase I and the IDeA Networks for Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) 1 and 2 5-year programs. These programs represented a comprehensive effort to increase the competitiveness of investigators at UW in obtaining funding from the NIH. BRIN, INBRE 1 and 2 also included efforts to provide research opportunities for undergraduates at UW and the state's community colleges through fellowships and technology upgrades, as well as to establish research and mentoring opportunities for students and faculty at the University of Wyoming and Wyoming's community colleges. Read more
